Toddler Approved Smoothie Bowls

I used to always be so impressed with the beautiful smoothie bowls I would see all over Instagram and figured they were an elaborate treat for a parent only breakfast… until I actually made one. Now I’m still impressed with the beautifully grammed bowls but I know that they taste just as good all mixed together and they’re actually super toddler-friendly! We eat these all the time and Hazel loves them! Little does she know I hide all sorts of healthy stuff inside them and these two versions that I make all the time are super quick and easy!

Kiwi Coconut Bowl

1/2 cup mixed frozen berries

1/4 frozen chopped spinach ( you won’t even notice it)

1/3 cup coconut almond milk

1 tbsp psyllium husks

Throw all the above into the blender – add the coconut milk in first to ensure a smooth blend ( I never used to do this and always thought my blenders sucked) Then add in

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp sliced almonds

1 tsp toasted coconut

1 sliced kiwi

Banana Berry Bowl

1 1/2 frozen bananas

1/3 cup coconut almond milk

1 tbsp PB2k

1 tbsp psyllium husks

Blend it all up and then sprinkle raspberries, blueberries toasted coconut and almonds on top. You don’t have to arrange it prettily but you do feel sort of extra eating it if you do!Title Image-01blogpost7blogpost8blogpost6blogpost5blogpost3blogpost2blogpost1
